Wonderful Wanda

Wanda has definitely won my heart over! It’s always the scared shut down ones that need the most help that keep my drive of rescuing dogs going. I love putting in the work and watching a dog blossom!

We rescued Wanda in July and what a transformation so far! She came from an abused home and she was used for breeding multiple times. We are putting her past behind her and she’s living like a queen now! This girl wanted nothing to do with me for like a month. Now she’s my best friend! We have been so patience with her and going with her pace. She loves going on car rides and adventures. She’s literally the sweetest but she still has her Boston moments.

I feel like Wanda is finally ready for a forever family or a foster home until she gets adopted! She’s been great with all the dogs she’s met and very playful. She definitely benefits on having her own emotionally support dog and has a lot more confidence with buddies. She listens very well. We have taken her to the beach and she did amazing with recall and staying near us. She’s still very timid and runs away from most people so she will take time to warm up to new people. Wanda needs a home that will be patience with her and let her open up. She’s a active girl and has lots of energy but also enjoys cuddling up on the couch. She does tend to get bored and get into things when left unsupervised so she definitely needs to keep with the crating.
